Maltacourt offers innovative freight forwarding solutions to meet the different requirements and budgets of our clients.

We are a business that has grown thanks to consistent high levels of customer satisfaction and an assurance of professional integrity whilst always retaining that “personal touch”.

From the preparation of relevant documentation through to, and most importantly, a smooth and safe delivery of goods our team offer their deep knowledge, experience and expertise to each and every shipment. We work with a wide range of businesses, including large multinationals down to individual traders. We have developed a trusted network of agents worldwide and bring expertise to the supply chain that ensures trouble free buying, selling, import and export of goods around the world.

HISTORY

Maltacourt Limited is a privately owned Company formed in 1981 by group Managing Director Christopher Hill to offer excellence in service to our clients in every area of their international trading.

The company was setup to offer a service to a small selection of clients in the refractory industry supplying products world-wide to customers in oil and gas Production, steel and glass Manufacture.

In 1985 four new members of staff joined the Company and a new office was opened in Slough. During the next 5 years we developed the full range of services for clients in many industries by air, sea and road. The company's growth during that time allowed us to recruit more experienced staff and to develop relationships with Agents worldwide.

During the 1990’s we expanded our operations in the South, eventually moving to our present location at London Heathrow where we operate our own computer controlled warehousing space alongside our core forwarding services.

We invested heavily in technology and enjoy a common freight management system, email and remote services across the business. We added direct links to UK Customs for both air and sea clearances and introduced system links with clients. We continue to keep pace with new technology and IT enhancements in the supply chain and international shipping sector.

OVERSEAS EXPANSION

The new millennia saw our strategic expansion plans commence with the launch of our first overseas operation, Maltacourt (Canada) Ltd.

Established in January 2001 and located close to Toronto International Airport, our Canada office offers a complete service for North American clients on all their international shipping and forwarding requirements throughout the world. Maltacourt (Canada) Ltd is led by our National Director Gary DeBrusk, supported by his international team of Import and Export specialists.

Opening in 2004, Maltacourt Australia (Pty) Ltd gave us a real “around the world” presence, offering true freight services in all time zones for the first time. Our National Director Dave Parfitt brought over 20 years of forwarding experience to the group and helped build an exciting and professional operation close to Sydney International Airport. A major technology upgrade in 2006 has delivered higher levels of service and enhanced our links to Australian Customs for both air and sea clearance.
