Maltacourt scoop another award to kick start 2017
Maltacourt have recently been awarded ‘Most Client Focused Freight Forwarder of the Year’ in the 2016 consultancy awards hosted by CV Magazine. The award cements Maltacourt’s status as a value add partner; building relationships based on trust and industry knowledge.
Maltacourt has always believed in tailoring its services to meet the individual needs of its clients and we’re able to give you a sneak peek of the article in which Adam Williams, Commercial Director UK, discusses Maltacourt’s position as a client centric business.
Here at Maltacourt, we don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach; as a result, we always aim to add the maximum value to every client, becoming an extension of their business. It is a consultative approach that starts from our very first interaction with that client; the process is all about them and how we can work to their advantage. We have always considered ourselves a client focused business, but through focusing on our staff, investing in training, increasing engagement and encouraging them to build relationships with clients we have been able to really drive that client focus from within, and through this strategy we have been able to achieve the success we enjoy today.
As a principle driven business, Maltacourt have a set of values that focus everything they do; professional, honesty, flexible, character and responsibility. These values, drive culture and the firm’s interaction with clients. As the business operates a flat management structure Adam explains that these values come right from the top.
Our top down approach is driven from senior management. We have a well experienced, international Board of Directors and we work hard to ensure as a group we discus and plan for pertinent industry developments. There is very little compartmentalisation within our business and quite a flat management structure which allows for an entrepreneurial flair that is really encouraged by the CEO.
Within the current platform of the industry there is an increasingly greater need to provide complete end-to-end solutions, being able to control the supply chain from start to finish. Maltacourt are fortunate to work with a number of carefully selected partners around the globe, including their own offices in Canada, Australia and Central Eastern Europe, enabling them to provide that careful, considerate end-to-end service customers are looking for.
